With a goal to prevent and reduce gender-based violence, CARE NW Balkans is implementing a ground-breaking program that works with young men aged 13-19 to deconstruct masculinity in their cultures and determine how gender norms and male socialization lead to inequitable attitudes.[+]

The position of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Coordinator will be based with the Middle East and Eastern Europe Regional Management Unit (MERMU) located in Cairo. The MENA Coordinator will work with the MERMU Regional Director and the Middle East Regional Leadership Team in the support and oversight of CARE’s country offices and regional activities within the Middle East and North Africa. The position of Eastern Europe Coordinator with the Middle East and Eastern Europe Regional Management Unit (MEERMU) will be based in Vienna Austria. The Eastern Europe Coordinator will work with the MERMU Regional Director and the Eastern Europe Regional Leadership Team in the support and oversight of CARE’s country offices and in any regional activities within Eastern Europe.
