Anti-traffikcing Day


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The European Union declared October 18 to be the Anti-traffikcing Day. As a part of its on-going “Counter-trafficking Community Mobilization Project” CARE International NW Balkans in Croatia and its project partner PETRA Network took part in the action organized in Zagreb downtown to promote that day and raise awareness of the general public about trafficking in persons. The event was organized by the Croatian Government Human Rights Office. The event was followed by the “movie night”, where, among several other TV clips and movies with the very topic, the newest documentary of CARE International NW Balkans “The Price of Life”-on Anti-trafficking efforts in Croatia was shown to the public at the Information Cultural Center in Zagreb on the following evening.
